Savory pre and post workout breakfast ideas?
Hi Team,
My partner, who is a cyclist and a runner, is looking for healthy, savory (not sweet) things to eat pre and post workout. She loves and craves protein and would rather eat something like half a chicken breast after a hard workout and no carbs. She knows that carbs are important, though, but can't tolerate much of anything sweet - it makes her nauseated. Just the opposite of me. Does anyone in the Haus have any good ideas?

perhaps check out the athlete's palate cookbook? lots of recipes, and each has a training/recovery designation.
I feel like I've seen/read breakfast type stuff with brown rice or quinoa... hmm... I'll try to remember where. Maybe some sort of healthy version of home fries/hash browns... to eat with eggs/an omelet/frittata...
