Swim camp

First of all, you should know how much I enjoy the outseason and the results. I prefer not to do the swim camp. What would be your second preference? Doing two more weeks of outseason plan, or two more weeks of HIM Plan? (I am supposed to start swim camp on december 29)

    1. What/when is your first A-race, ie, that HIM that you're training for?
    2. What are your current swim times?
  • My first A-race is in march 15, 70.3 Puerto Rico. My last 70.3 swimming time is 42:14 in april 2014, and my last 140.6 swimming time was in may 2014 IM Texas 1:28:52, with wetsuit. I do not like swimming. I had made several attempts with different swimming coaches in P.R. with litlle or no success. For my two 2014 events I swim more or less two times per week, most of the time 1,500 to 1,900 meters, just plain swimming and get the same (140.6) and a little better (70.3) results than in the past, training with local swimming coaches.

Ok. I recommend you do the optional swimming that begins in Wk10 of the OS plan and then start the HIM plan after you finish the OS.
