I'm planning on going to Austin in 2015!

I'm trying to wait until my annual bonus comes to plunk down the greenbacks - does anyone know how quickly this fills up?

I'll be over in JOS but am subscribed over here... looking forward to getting to know my fellow EN racers!

I've done this race the last two years and have always waited to sign up until the early summer sometime... I think it has sold out but I think it takes a little while... For what it's worth I just noticed they moved the date back a bit this year to 8-Nov. Last few years it was at the end of Oct...

Haven't decided if I'm going or not yet. There might be an international trip around that time for me, so my decision will have to wait on my vacation schedule.

Hi I'm from Denver, Colorado and just signed up for Austin. It will be my 8th 70.3 and I'm looking forward to a late season race and hopeful that I can reach a time goal this year. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

I'm thinking it'll take a little longer to sell out this year. The reason they moved it back to early November, is because it was 90-something degrees this year in the last weekend of October. Lots of people had heat/dehydration issues so late in the year, so they're hoping to mitigate that with a later date.

It did get hot on the run last year! I prefer the heat to cold though I have to say. The weather that time of year here is always rather random, could be hot or cold...

Hello team! I will also join you for IM Austin. This will be my last IM branded 70.3 for the season. Really looking forward to a stellar closeout. So far this year I've done Galveston and Lubbock. I'm looking to qualify for AWA status again. I've done 5 HIM and 2 fulls. This will be my first time running Austin.

Welcome Brian! Not sure if I will do this race or not but I hope it's great for you. I just finished IM Boulder and I have to see if I have that SAUs for another race...

Hello everyone,

Austin 70.3 will wrap up the 2015 year for me.  It will be my third 70.3 after having done Grand Rapids MI half iron distance and Muncie where I managed a 3rd place finish in 50-54 AG.  Also did IMLP this July.  Looking forward to getting out to the midwest for a new race venue.  I wish everyone a safe and great race!

Hello Austin 70.3 Team - I'm planning to race Austin this year.  First 1/2 Iron in 8 years....lots of injuries and military deployments since 2007.  Chronic ankle issue holds my run volume back, so needed to confirm I can handle training before I drop the entry fee.  I'm on the 1/2 Iron Beginner plan...I've raced full I-man with EN during its early years; always had great results.  I have a sprint tri this weekend and will add distance before/after to constitute race rehearsal.  If all goes well, I'll pay $$ on Monday before they raise the price on Sept 29th.  Hope to see you there and will start tracking the mojo in our forum.
