  • @Steve -- we lost my mother in law earlier in the year and the whole family was a mess, so no training during that time for me. Great job getting some tough work in and keeping your family at the top of the priority list. All the best during these difficult times
  • Great job everyone on keeping up with all the 'work' during the holidays.

I got in 2 bikes this week , bith outdoors, but without PM. My powertap hasnt turned on since I moved from Philly to Sarasota. I'm hoping it is the battery but I don't have the tool here to check it out. I forgiot to take it out of my bike box and it is coming with the movers. hopefully next week.

  • Did yesterday's bike today. I think I am adjusting to the new FTP, hit .99, 1.0, 1.01 for the 2x15, 1x5. I am adding on lots of time to get ready for the January volume camp (did a 1.5 hr easy ride yesterday as well) so I did 2x10 at Z3 and 3x11 at Z2. Total of 2.5 hrs.
  • Last workout of the week. I had to work today and the early start,(3:30 am) really hits me hard. I got home and went right to the pain cave. I did my standard warm-up and then started the 2 X 15' set. That was all I was planning since I still had to get  a run in and my family was holding dinner for me. I did the 2 X 15' at 95%. they went well and I feel like I had more to give. I finished at 257W for each and I think I could have pushed them up to 260W each. I jumped off the bike and right onto the TM for a quick 2 mile brick. I definitely had more running in me, but no more time. The workout was great and dinner with my wife and children was better. The 28 day run challenge is not killing me so far. I am very excited about that!
