First Week Tests/Season planning question

Hello Coach! I am brand new to EN and have a quick question regarding the bike testing; Currently my bike is set up on the trainer without a computer to calculate the distance I have ridden. I do have a Garmin to measure my heart rate. is it necessary to calculate the distance for the bike test, or can I use time and heart rate only? I appreciate any help you can offer! Thank you. Also, I put a request in to the support page already, but the links provided to the wiki from the OutSeason training calendar are not working for me. Perhaps there is another route into the wiki that I am missing?

Also; I have added a couple more events to my schedule. One HM in February and a 6 hour trail "race" in March. Should I redo my roadmap survey?

Thanks for your help! -Amy Sorensen

  • Will do! Thank you.

I have copied and pasted the following info from my first week OutSeason training page. The links send me to a page that has a medical tent and says "Sorry! You have gone of course..."

Welcome to the Endurance Nation OutSeason -- you have lots of learning to do so please check out all the resources before you dive right in.

Resources: First, be sure to check out the official OutSeason Wiki Page here.Second, if you just tested at the end of your plan and see this test week AGAIN, read this wiki post on how to adjust your plan.

(The latter is what I was looking for, as I just did the tests last week during my trial.)

    Thanks again!

  • Amy,
This is fixed, so you should be good. Thanks for catching that jacked up link :-)
