Swim question
I have read and understand the philosophy around not swimming in the off season as the swim skills can return quickly.
I also agree with your other point made that slower swimmers have more to gain through working on technique than do the stronger more experienced swimmers.
Does this argue that there can be value for the weaker swimmers to work on technique in the off season? Could be by waiting until just 3 months before the 'A' race there is not enough time to improve technique.
How weak does a swimmer have to be before they should include some swim work in the off season? Worried I may be there

Hey Ken,
Here's a very comprehensive video on this topic that I recorded for one of our coach chats. This should answer a lot of questions for you.
