Maria M's thread
Hey,
Finishing waiting period for land running due to PF. Followed Rich's advice to move from bike specific to OS w/o running. I get cleared in two weeks. I've been doing pool runs in the meantime. How do I get running up to speed with bike? Trying to get to IMLP injury free.
Also, how do I get a schedule for LP camp? Trying to arrange flight to/from Texas. I need to know want time camp ends on Sunday.
Still figuring out forum thing so sorry if questions aren't in the right place!
Thanks

I'd like to see you get the runs integrated back into your schedule as a Run Walk protocol; run intensity in the OS is off the table until you are running consistently 3 days a week for 45' at a time. So it would look like this.
Transition Week 1 -- Bike as planned. Wed + Sunday are 30' Run/Walk -- Repeating Walk 6', Run 2'.
Transition Week 2 -- Bike as planned. Wed + Sunday are 35' Run/Walk -- Repeating Walk 5', Run 3'.
Transition Week 3 -- Bike as planned. Wed + Sunday are 40' Run/Walk -- Repeating Walk 4', Run 4'.
Transition Week 4 -- Bike as planned. Wed + Sunday are 40' Run/Walk -- Repeating Walk 3', Run 5'.
Transition Week 5 -- Bike as planned. Wed + Sunday are 40' Run/Walk -- Repeating Walk 2', Run 6'.
Transition Week 6 -- Bike as planned. Wed + Sunday are 45' Run/Walk -- Repeating Walk 2', Run 8'.
Run / Walk is all Zone 1 to Zone 2. You are essentially building run durability as we get back into it. You are welcome to add more time Pool running or to also "walk" off the bike on Tues/Thurs/Sat according to the Run / Walk intervals that are listed above.
Let me know what you think!
