Who would you like for a sponsor?

Greetings from your Marketing Director....

Sound off on who you might want to see a sponsorship/discount from? Curious what you guys are interested in for 2015

Comments

  • Any way to get Gatorade cheaper would be great!
  • Under Armour would be great.
  • My wishlist:

    • Hoka shoes
    • Cervelo
    • Speedfil
    • Zipp
    • Reynolds
    • Profile Designs
    • Garmin
    • Gatorade
    • Bonk breaker or whatever solid food you guys are using on training rides. I'm typically sponsored by king size Snickers at gas stations, or frozen bagels stuff in my pocket before a ride
    • Strava
    • Whatever bike box people are using these days
    • A national hotel chain / group
  • Infinite Nutrition
  • I agree with many of the suggestions set forth above, but most of all, I'd like to see equipment sponsors, as Rich suggests. While certain retailers are great, it would be better in my mind to get deals on the equipment we use from manufacturers. I am on a mountain bike team and we have bike and component sponsors and get pro deals on all of the stuff, which are fantastic! That said, with a diverse team like this, there is no way every team member would be on sponsor gear, which may be an issue in obtaining such sponsorships.
  • vasa-swim-ergometer
  • -Garmin

-A powermeter co (Quarq, Stages, Garmin, etc)

-Renew with Running Warehouse - good sponsor!

-team discount for TrainerRoad ( I know it's already pretty cheap)

    -Rev3 (current discount is NG)

Thanks and thankful for any sponsorship!
  • Garmin - so many products to choose from
    Hoka
    Bonk Breaker
I also like the Hotel chain idea.
  • Turtle Wax... Ya know, cuz I'm slow. image

I second Under Armour. If it weren't for them, I'd be runnin nekked!

  • If I were to peg it down to just one item, because we do a lot of traveling to do races in differ parts of US and Canada I would like a major Hotel chain as a sponsor !

  • Just FYI We have running warehouse for shoes and InsideOut Sports has a lot of nutrition you can purchase- has anyone tried using those for those products? Also infinite we have, unless you are experiencing issues with the code.
  • I was picked up as a Nuun Hydration Ambassador this year, so I can connect you there! They're my sole hydration product (even before I was picked up by them)!
  • Im a busy hunting down rabbits---- uhhh sponsors lol check out the latest!

AWESOME SPONSOR ALERT: Ok folks you asked and we deliver.... Ruster Sports is now a sponsor on the team and offering a kickstart discount off their Armored Bike Case for the next 3 months to EN- DONT MISS THIS!
  • Louis Garneau would be nice. The go-fast aero gear they produce is top-notch.
  • @dave- thanks I put it on the list, see what I can do!
  • My wishlist:

    Newton
    DeSoto
    Trainer Road
    Strava
    First Endurance

  • @Todd I will work on those but in the meantime you can get a discount on newtons at running warehouse and inside out sports also has first endurance with free shipping over $50 FYI
  • SciCon bags. No more bike boxes!

UCAN, Energy Bits, Vespa, CEP, all3sports.com, NUUN, Headsweats, Saucony, Cycleops, Trek, Garmin, Feetures, Thorlo (I go through a lot of socks), Flipbelt, shimano (tri bike shoes), FINIS, profile design (wet suit), TREK, Addidas Boost

That's about all I can think of. Oh...if I have to eat something traditional, classic Power Bars. YUM.

  • Is there a new Tri Bike Transport code? The current info doesn't work. Thanks!
  • @ Rachel - I will alert when its fixed- thank you!
  • Cobb saddles

    ISM Adamo saddles

@ Rachel - I will alert when its fixed- thank you!

    Mariah, Rachel, et al,

I specifically asked my TBT folks (I'm sponsored by them this year) about discounts for tri clubs, and this is what they told me:

"What we’re asking from tri teams in 2015 is that our logo be on their kits in exchange for $40 off transport for all team members"

I wish you luck if you can get them to sway from this new philosophy!

  • @rachel---- @scott is correct and they will not change their policy, I will be working to find an alternative but in the meantime I urge you to consider the Ruster Sports promo going on for the next two months ONLY to EN athletes, would save you tons of money in the long run and money in the short run!
  • Hi Mariah,
Glad you are the Captain of this group! I volunteered at last years IM CHOO race and remembered seeing your smiling face and feeling your energy at the finish line for several hours. Glad to be a part of the team this year!
Is there a list of EN sponsors?
    Thanks.
  • @Melissa Thank you for the kind words! See you at CHOO again this year (Race captain to CHOO also) There are a list of current sponsors. Click on "STORE" at the top of the page, then "TEAM DISCOUNTS" you will see what we have so far, if you are looking for something specific, feel free to reach out I might be able to hunt it down for you within our current sponsors, or you can make a request on this forum for me to try and work out. See you soon!
  • How about SBR Sports? I may have a connection with that one.
