weekly schdule

I am a firefighter, and am having problems with the training schdule. I don't like to run at the station as there is not good place to run outside forcing me to use the dreadmill. Is it possible for me to move weekly  workouts around? I know the weekends are for long workouts does it matter if i flip the Saturday to Sunday or vise versa? Is it possible to flip the weekday workouts around as well. What would the best way to do this.

  • Uriah, yes!! We have several firefighters on the team....and police officers and other various crazy (awesome) folks.

    You have two options:

    #1 -- if you know your schedule ahead of time, put it to me in the Micro Forum and I can advise on edits. Example, tell me today (thurs) what Week / Plan you are on for next week and the "no workout days"

    OR

    #2 -- you can move them around using the colored icons to keep the most important ones 24 hours apart.

  • Thank you, right now I am in the Preseason training and have been able to do the run workouts on station since they have changing tempos. That helps me not fell like a hampster in a wheel. I will try moving them around in the up coming weeks. If I get stuck I will use the Micro Forum. I believe we are all crazy together for doing these races in a good way! Thank you again.
  • We totally are...but there's a fine line between managing fitness / work / etc and NOT moving things forward. Just like some days you killed it and other days it killed you...when you are trending more to the latter, it's a sign we need to connect.
