New Race Week Podcast with Jess Withrow -- Find Out what the Week is Really Like!

Folks -

Very pleased to announce another brand new training camp venture for 2015. I am calling it the Kona Race Experience Camp (10/2/15 to 10/12/15) -- we'll be on a mission to enjoy the entire Big Island Experience and set you up for a great race week whether you are there to RACE or if you are joining us to TRAIN and build some serious fitness.

We have options for Couples and Single athletes...and if you have a full family / need a complete condo we can try to work on that as well.

Having raced in Kona six times and spectated once, I know exactly how amazing the week is...and how to make the most of it. And I want to be able to help you do the same.

Why Camp In Kona During Race Week?

First and foremost, it’s the epicenter of triathlon for the year — all eyes are on the Big Island because all the professionals, brands, and fun is happening. Stop reading about what’s going on and actually join in!

Second, the Kona is already in massive triathlon mode and the locals are ready to welcome you — the roads, sidewalks and even the ocean is full of triathletes training. Literally!

Third, as a racer you want the support of experienced camp leadership (Coach Patrick has competed here six times!) and the camaraderie of the group. The only thing better than training with Endurance Nation is racing with us too!

Fourth, you want to explore all the storied areas — and elements! — of the course. What does the wind really feel like? The heat? How long is the Energy Lab? How bad is “Pay and Save Hill?” What is it like swimming in Kailua Bay?

Details

Logistics are listed online at the official camp page, but here are the basics. The camp is a ten day event (yes, like a proper vacation), starting the Friday before Race Week and wrapping on Monday AM, the day after the banquet. We can work with your Triathlon Season Roadmap (TSR) to make sure your year still works, don't worry.
