Inside Tracker

After learning about Inside Tracker on the EN twitter chat last night, I looked into it a bit further, Epsecially for my wife who has had difficulty during races with nutrition. Has anyone else done the blood tests and ordered one of their packages? If so, which one did you go with and was it helpful? Did it change eating habits, improve levels of energy/fatigue throughout the day, night sleep? 

The ultimate package seems to be very expensive, especially since you should probably do at least a second test to track progress and see changes. The Fitness one seems to be pretty comprehensive to get a good understanding, but it is missing the minerals ( potassium, sodium, zinc, chromium) which are important for us as endurance athletes.

  • I didn't participate in the twitter thing but it is hard to see how intermittent markers would help with in race nutrition. I would thing it might have effect on long term (weeks) nutrition to correct low values. $499 is expensive.  I guess it depends on how much guidance and advice they will give you following assessment of the results.
