[UPDATED] 2016 January Volume Camp Info & Sign Up Tracker!

UPDATE!! This thread has been updated to include names of your fellow teammates who have registered!

Folks, Coach Patrick here --

Very pleased to announce that we are returning to Clermont in January 2016 for our Second Annual Camp. This is a four-day adventure over Martin Luther King Day Weekend (1/14/16 to 1/18/16) that will build on the awesome time we had this year.

How good was this year? Put it this way -- 100% of the campers who attended in 2015 are coming back! That's right...every...single...one.  If you want to read their feedback, you can find it in the 2015 JVC Thread Here.  You can also see some of our pictures online here.

We had folks of all ability levels on hand, and the camp went really, really smoothly. Seriously!

You can read up on the Camp Details online, but here are the details:

  • You can save $100 off the camp price by making your initial deposit before March 1, 2015. You can do that here.
  • Since there are already 10 campers in, we have limited space -- probably just 10 more folks. So please act quickly.

Why A January Volume Camp?

#1 -- It will give you an early season means of building critical volume. Most of us don't get to the volume "pop" part of our year until the weather turns around, leaving usually six to nine months between these efforts. This camp will be a chance to speed up that cycle, which is perfect for those of you in Year Two and Three of our Three Year Plan.

#2 -- This is good "catch-all" camp for early season races that don't usually receive any training camp attention -- from Oceanside and St. Croix all the way to New Zealand, Texas and even Brazil.

#3 -- Perhaps most important of all, it will help you stay sane in another ridiculously long winter of training. If thinking about the winter of 2014 still makes you curl up in a ball and shake out of fear, then this camp could be for you.

Basic Details

The camp is a four day weekend including Martin Luther King, so you really only need to take one day off of work to sneak away! We can work with your Triathlon Season Roadmap (TSR) to make sure your year still works, don't worry.
