It's Sunday, time to track the races!
OK- so there aren't any "big" races with masses of ENers this weekend, but there are a few IM and 70.3's this weekend and, well, I'm a little anxious for IMSG next week! So to brush up on my Ironman.com race coverage, I thought I'd post the following updates!
Tina Van Wyk is doing IM South Africa today. And you may recall, she's doing this one "by the seat of her pants". All on PE 'cause all her hear rate, pace, power equipment has failed!

IM 70.3 Texas is being covered by IM Live today as well. Kristen Olsen is doing it, although no results yet (probably still waiting just to get in the water! ). The pro's are out of the water and about 10 miles into the bike. FYI, Andy Potts and Pip Taylor are the leaders right now. I thought Philip Fratto was doing it as well, but maybe I have that mixed up with another TX race 'cause I can't find him in the list. Anyone know?

We've got some run splits for Tina too, but these can't quite be right. 4:37min miles???? They must have something wrong with where the mats are vs where they thought they would be.

Tina is kicking boo-tay! All on PE??? Amazing!
Kristen is rocking the bike!!
Tina is done!!! I'd love to finish this well on PE! IIRC, she was really worried about the run because she didn't have much training behind here and so she planned on being very conservative there. Looks like she did awesome!

Wow, ladies, I'm blown away by your race tracking! Thanks for watching me! I felt you all out there with me today.
I'll write an official race report later, when I have all the data downloaded, etc. This was the toughest half I have ever done , including Buffalo Springs. The combination of the rough water, constant crosswinds on the bike, and my old nemesis the migraine on the run made for a long day. I'm happy I did it, even though my run time should have been much better - there was some walking involved.
I did get to spend a little time after the race with fellow EN'er Paul Takac, who is just a sweetheart. Handsome, too!
I'm happy, hungry, and tired. Must have been a good day! I'm glad to be finished and I'm really looking forward to tracking everyone at IMSG next weekend! Thanks again for watching, and reading, and for all the kind Facebook messages!
Sorry for the confusion Nemo I just had my big day training day today. My race isnt till June 27 in Lubbock Buffalo Springs.
