changes for the next 2 weeks
Coach,
I am currently finishing up week 11 of the HIM intermediate plan. At the end of week 13, I have a half marathon planned on Sunday. It is not an 'A' running race, but was scheduled several months ago. How should I modify week 13 training to still do well in the race? On that Thursday of week 13, there is a 110 min long run scheduled, which I will 'move to Sunday'. What should I do on Thursday? Also, would you recommend doing the Saturday prescribed bike workout, drop the run, and then treat Sunday the 'brick' part of the run? I ran a 1:32 three weeks ago in a 13.1, season goal was to go sub 1:30. Would like to go for that if possible without jeopardizing 70.3 training.
I will likely also have to modify week 12 weekend training due to a wedding. I will have time Saturday morning, but likely not enough for 3.5 hrs of training? What would you recommend I do? Possibly can do Sunday as scheduled but not for sure.

For that next week I'd do a steady Z2 ride on Tues, the FTP run on Wed, then the FTP ride from Tues on Thurs. be sure to get in the Friday workouts...Sat have fun (early AM run?) and then on Sunday...if you can gent in a ride with some ABP great.
If don't want to out too much on you given your training timeframe and the estimated effort you'll be putting out in the 13.1 (and in the wedding dance floor!).
