Wade's Macro
Sorry if this question has been asked already but I can't seem to get the forum search function to work. Using the EN calculators I entered my first run test and obtained the HR zones and training paces. I chose to use the pace data when doing my long run (treadmill because of weather). I found my HR was mostly in zone 2 creeping into zone 3 while maintaining my LRP. I felt good and even enjoyed my run; as much as you can on a treadmill (watched 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly ). Which do you recommend following, HR zones or pace, when doing long runs? Thanks.

Recommend that most of time you run by pace and observe heart rate. Over time you'll recognize trends and be able to identify when to use HR as primary, pace as secondary. For example, in the last 30' of a 2hr run on a hot day mid-way through a high volume week...and you're dehydrated.
For now, pace is fine and just observe HR, especially since indoors your HR will likely be elevated vs running outdoors.

Sure.
Each training plan reaches it's respective Level 10 on the Training Stress Dial (ie, Frequency + Volume + Intensity) at some point in the plan. We turn up that dial more quickly in the Advanced plan, less quickly in the Intermediate plan, etc. So it's more about rate of increase? Basically, in the Advanced plan we get you up to that Level 10 spicy pretty quickly.
A fun note... I just made a Trainer Road workout combining the standard bike warmup and one of my plan's workouts, very cool!!
In the 'Training with Power' webinar it was said that a TSS chart for HIM would be published. Did this ever happen and if so where do I find it? Thanks.

No, I don't believe we ever made that table. That table was made by Rick Ashburn and has been used by others. Maybe search Google to see if someone has created one for HIM racing?
