Heather's Macro Thread

Hey Rich,

After double dipping with two Ironman's last season, I was not ready to start on with the November OutSeason plan as suggested for Ironman Chattenooga ('A' race with goal to be FASTER).  I started with the January OutSeason plan, and I have also signed up for the New Orleans 70.3 as an early event for the year.  Do I follow the OutSeason plan, fine tuning the run and adding swims, or do I switch to the half-iron training plan at some point?

Thanks for the wisdom!

I think you should switch over to the HIM plan now but modify the plan to suit your ability to train outdoors vs indoors. So if the HIM plan says to ride 3hrs on Saturday but you're not able to ride outside, do an OS flavor ~90 ride. But at least by having the HIM plan loaded up you'll have outdoor-flavor guidance right there, if the weather is cooperating. Make sense?
