Bill S Macro Thread
This question is on behalf of a friend that I would like to recommend join the team. We will be doing IMLP, it will be his first. He has been doing his own training plan but was recently promoted to a new job. Consequence is having fewer hours per week (probably about 14 hrs max available) and has to travel overseas every 3-6 weeks - but with no advance notice.
Would the Beginner plan or the Minimalist plan I see listed accommodate an extra busy work schedule and/or having to skip as much as 5 weeks between now and July 27th? Would that be done by starting a plan 4 weeks early in anticipation of 4 weeks that might later need to be non-training weeks?

Hi Bill,
Probably best to have him create his free trial now and I can have these conversations with him directly? 14hrs per week is enough and there are ways to accommodate these travel periods by having him bike more on the front end and run more during the trips. At the end of the day, it is what it is and he can work with us each week to amend the schedule.
Coach,
Planning my schedule/budget for the big weeks in the season. My roadmap leading up to IMLP has wk of Jun 1 (wk 13) doing Quassy, wk of June 8 (wk 14) doing IMLP Camp, and wk of June 15 (wk 15) race rehearsal.
1) which is better quassy to do- Olympic, Half, or both ? Would choice be different if I did not do the Camp the following week?
2) Doing the Camp and then the race rehearsal the following weekend- does the rehearsal volume in the plan get adjusted if I do the camp?
