Challenge Quassy EN Preview Ride?

Howdy folks!  I'd like to plan a Quassy preview ride and was thinking maybe the weekend of May 9th or May 23rd (Memorial Day weekend)?  We did this a couple of times last year and it was fun! (except the part where I got lost) The more the merrier!  I know there is a LBS that usual has an "official ride" but we don't need them!  (And they charge $20)

Who's in?  What date would be better?

    Cool Michelle! Although at this point, I'm wondering if we might have to worry about ice patches on race day! LOL

    Here is the info on the official preview ride. I may do this as well as another ride Memorial Day weekend. Even though I'm racing the Oly, I might ride the Half course for fun.... Just to remind myself how happy I am to only be doing the Oly. image

    Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to the official preview ride May 2 as I'll be in AZ for work. (Not a bad place to be) so I'll def be planning another one...

    I can't do the May 2 ride either because I have to work that day. Let me know when you want to do the other ride Kim and I will be there!!

    The bike race I had for April 10 was moved to May 9th so it looks like I will end up riding the weekend of May 23rd. I will probably wait until that week to determine which day so I can check out the weather first. image I'll likely just ride the Oly course but I'm sure others will ride the Half. We can plan to start together at least. I'll try to recruit some of my local riding buddies to join me so it won't be a solo effort....

    I've been lurking here but can't commit to a day yet. For me it involves a 6 hour drive each way so is a major investment for me and may not be worth while given that IMLP is my 'A' race.

    I do want to preview the course but I may not get there to do it. If and when I decide, I will certainly post it here in case others want to join me.

    I'm planning on riding the Oly course Sunday morning @ 8am if anyone wants to join. (Even if you want to ride the Half course.... They do share some segments) Anyone?

    Too far of a drive for me so I'm out. Have to say, this will be interesting with only a small window to try and preview any of either course - even by car for me.

    Laura Becker and I and another girl rode the Quassy Oly course today. Still hilly but a gorgeous day. Roads are pretty rough. Lots of riding in the middle of the road. Be careful when racing!
