Need help to restructure my Week 14 Full plan

Hi Coach - 

I'll be making my annual pilgrimage to a small town in Virginia to see the in-laws April.  Right in the middle of my Week 14 (Advanced Full) - Wed to Sat.  I can run and there is a stationary bike at a local gym (not sure if I could survive a 5hr ride on it though).  It looks like I will be missing some key bike and swim sessions...  

How do you suggest I plan for this?

  • Ashton, we can deal...I would have you do the following:

    Sun - Extend the ride to 4 hours...getting in some bonus time on the bike to head off the lost time in the next weekend.
    Mon - Swim and Tuesday Run.
    Tues - Wednesday bike/run workout.
    Wed - Short run of 45', easy to steady.
    Thu - Your weekly long run of 2:15.
    Fri - Recovery day, maybe a short 45' stationary bike spin to get loose?
    Sat - Run 45' to 60' , mostly at Zone 2 / Steady effort.
    Sun - A ride...I'll take any time you can get here...maybe just the Sunday session? Hell, I'd even take an hour...but if you are shelled from the trip, you could take it off and we'll regroup the next week!
