Week Mod to accommodate 10 mile road race

Hi Coach P!

Just started Week 2 of the Advanced Get Faster plan and realized I have a 10 miler (hilly race) this Sunday. How would you suggest I approach this week so that I am prepared to run a great race on Sunday?

  • If possible, I'd move the Sat ride to Friday...then Sat off to stay loose and prepare for the race (check in etc). I'd also pick just one workout a day for we'd/thu/fri (fri is the bike, obviously). Good luck!!
  • Sounds good. I think I will swim on Wed, run (mile repeat wko) on Thursday, Bike Fri and off Sat. Thanks again!
