My question regards moving the workouts around.  It seems the Tues-Thurs block being in that order is important, but Tues and Thurs are the 2 days I can get in the pool in the morning.  How should I rearrange the weekly schedule to fit that pool schedule?  I am currently on a short course plan.

  • Verne, thanks for your patience. I would personally drop the brick runs on Tues/Thurs and keep the Bike but add the AM swim. Then you can add a Monday / Friday skill run of 30 to 45 minutes, with strides. Or, you could take Monday off as well if that was better for you.

    Can you do both Swim / Bike on Tues/Thurs?
  • I probably could on Thurs but not Tues.  I am going to try swapping the Mon/Tues and Thurs/Fri workouts and leave everything else the same.  I just didn't know if there was something to be had from the bike/run stack from Tues-Thurs.  Though I suppose any synergy there will exist from Fri-Mon on my proposed swap.
