2015 70.3 New Orleans Lunch

Hi gang, although I will not be on the ground for this event, I am working behind the line to put together a lunch for you to meet, greet, eat and take a team pick.

Last year it was here:

Chateau Cafe - Lakeview

12:30ish (after swim)
139 Robert E Lee Boulevard, New Orleans, LA

I am going to make it at the same location as last year, unless someone can give me a better location.  I need to book this asap, so if I do not hear from anyone by tomorrow, I will book.

Please go the EN Event Sheet HERE to let us know if you will be joining us.  Thanks folks. Hope the training is going well.

  • I'm driving down Saturday from Baton Rouge (about 80 min away). But count me in for sure.
  • Do yall know if Brandon DuMontier and Stephen Anderson are hooked into this thread? They are racing.
  • I am in this thread and will likely be at the lunch but am not totally sure yet. This is very near my house so I should be there but am not positive. Sorry to be indecisive.
  • Brenda, thanks for putting this together and thanks Scott for letting me know about this!

clicking on RSVP here helped me to find that sign in sheet!

  • I am now staying in Metairie.  they sent me confirmation on points covering stay and then said no, that wasn't the case (?)  watch those reservation plans!  it gets tricky!

  • Patricia, I am also staying in Metairie. The French Quarter and warehouse district were too pricey. I live in Baton Rouge and will be driving in Saturday morning. I'm all in on the group meeting so let me know what I need to do to join it. This will be my first race with endurance nation. So, other than this thread, I am not sure how we know who will race New Orleans.
  • looking forward to meeting everyone. for those of you who currently live in NOLA it will be good to get info on resources there as I come "home" often. (I'm actually from Ohio but lived in NOLA for quit a while) When I lived there I did not do triathlons..... and OWS was dicey at best. I remember swimming n Lake Bourne and it was shallow and murky.... Yuck! Never swam in Pontchatrain
  • everyone, be sure to click on link above from Brenda (it says RSVP Here.) that hot link takes you to the info sheet for 'group me' and other info
