Mandy Midgett's Crazy week

Hi-

 I'm in the 5th week of the Get Faster plan. I am leaving early Friday morning for Tucson and will be acting director of a cycling camp! :-)

I need help with my plan from 6-16 Mar since I will be out there or traveling. I am slated to ride 10-11 Mar, 12 Mar and 14 Mar. 10 Mar is Madera Canyon- 26 mi, 2600 ft elevation gain, 11 Mar is Kitt Peak- 50 miles 5000 ft elevation gain, 12 Mar is Segura Canyon- multi 8 mi loops- 800ft elevation gain each loop,  and 14 Mar is a Tombstone ride- 40 mi and 1800ft elevation gain.

I doubt I will have access to a pool, but will take my swim cords. Of course I can run whenever. 

Please advise on how to re-vamp so that I continue to Get Faster!

  • Mandy - I can adjust for travel but hard to adjust when you are travel + training camp!!! You should enjoy the camp riding when you can and running the other days. I'd keep the runs < 45' and have you do 1/2 mile repeats in Z4 to keep sharp there. When you get back we can reintegrate but I don't want to ruin a perfectly good camp with special intervals that take you away from the group!! image
