Need Bike Shirt Input

Hi team! I need your professional triathlete and cyclist opinion .... I raise money for and help Running for Rescues w their marketing. We are launching Riding for Rescues to broaden our appeal and I am working with a vendor to design some bike shirts for folks who fundraise for us. What do u think? Would this make u more excited to fundraise for us??

Thanks!

PS Feel free to donate to my page if you'd like. image

First, Riley gives your efforts two stubby toes up! At least, it think he does because he's sleeping right now...

Second, is your intent to give away a jersey in exchange for a donation? Jerseys can be pricey and is definitely an item that you get what you pay for. So I could see you asking for a minimum $75 donation to get a jersey, but the jersey costs you $40-50, but from what I know about $40-50 jerseys I probably wouldn't want to wear it? And for all of this you net $25-30? Of course, totally making those numbers up, don't know what you have worked out on your end.

What about a hat or some other bulletproof item? I could put you in touch with BE and they have sources to get you a headsweats quality hat for about <$10 at the quantities you'd be looking at. So a $50 donation, for example, nets you $40 and the donator gets an item they are more likely to use more often?</p>

Rich-thanks for the input! the intent is to give a shirt for anyone who rides and fundraises for us. And maybe sell some too, but that's not the main driver. It's more of a thank you/incentive to fundraise/way to represent. It will work just like Running for Rescues, but on 2 wheels...

I'll get some samples before I order to make sure it's a shirt I'd wear. Here's the details on it.

Finally, I'd love to talk to BE about other "stuff"! Thanks!

As a proud owner of a rescue dog, who happens to be a great running partner, a jersey wouldn't make me more or less likely to raise money, I'm just not wired that way. I donate to causes i believe in regardless of the gifts. However, it might be a good conversation starter that would raise awareness of the cause and the organization. I hadn't heard of the organization before this, but if I saw someone wearing a shirt or jersey then I might ask about it or look it up on the web as I just did.

Kim- I do some volunteer work for a local rescue group. I'd love to bring this idea to them, especially if it would help (running/riding for rescue). I also happen to live in a super active community where I'm sure I can get some interest. If this is something that you believe is a good fit, inbox me with some info. Nice work....I love those fuzzy guys too!

At long last, these jerseys are ready to order!! It's easy....

    1) go here. http://www.runningforrescues.org/su...rchandise/

On the bottom left, click the shirt jersey image to check out the sizing guide. Or see it here. http://www.jakroo.com/sizing/

    2) enter your size. Specify Men's or women's plus Relaxed or Standard fit.

    3) click Buy Now and pay via Paypal.

Sorry, it's not the best website for buying stuff but that's what u get with people working pro bono.

I'm going to take orders til about the end of the month, so I'd guess shirts would ship mid-late May.

The image doesn't do it justice. The colors are really nice and have more contrast than the image shows.
