Is there a mileage cap for long runs for Adv HIM plan? At my VDOT a 2 hr run turns out to be about 17.5 miles.

  • Great call! I'd say between 13-15 miles. Just no point at running any longer -- we want quality runs with good recovery for the next week...anything longer than 15 and you could be making some sacrifices you don't need to make!!

    The Tuesday in the Run Focus calls for 3x1 (4') Z4 and lists 60 minutes. The WU and Main set only take at the most 45 minutes. What should I do, if anything, for the remaining 15mins? As I recall, this is the same run as in the OS. I usually did the remainder at Z1-2.
