Where to stay?

Totally forgot that I need to book a hotel for the Ironman Racine 70.3.  Can anyone who has done this race before recommend the best hotel to stay at?  Thank you!

I booked the Marriott that is about 10 min drive away. Everything else is showing sold out online that is close. I would suggest starting to call.

The other thing I would suggest is that people book multiple rooms and then cancel them. Secure a room that is a short drive Kenosha or South Milwaukee now, and look 2 weeks, then 1 week out to probably get a closer room.

I stayed at the Super 8 last time, not a great choice as I booked last minute.

Cristi, the Marriott and other hotels in that area are your best bet, I have stayed there, and it is relatively easy to get to the race. See you in Racine.
