IRONMAN TRICLUB WINNINGS

Hi Team!

We just heard back from IRONMAN about what we got for winning the 2014 IRONMAN Triclub competition and we wanted to pass it along to you. We got some pretty kewl stuff, hope you are pumped!

CLUB BIKE RACK IN T1 FOR 2015:
Our Team will have a designated location in transition, where everyone who is racing that event will be racked. Brenda will be providing the names of all teammates racing to IRONMAN, so it is very important that you get your name on the EN Event Sheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1n1qBU5AOjYzbNZ9e8DWHNRcNCasV29RxUJX65pSZWso/edit#gid=12) if you are racing at one of the events below, so that you can be racked with our team.

IRONMAN Lake Placid
IRONMAN Wisconsin
IRONMAN Chattanooga
IRONMAN Florida
IRONMAN Arizona

and….

PRIORITY REGISTRATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR 2016
We didn’t receive as many slots as we did in 2013 -- there are a lot of clubs participating and Ironman® is very concerned about being equitable. That said, if new races emerge or if opportunities for entries arise, Endurance Nation is the first club that will be given a chance to access additional early slots outside of what you see listed below. So make sure you are paying attention!

The Key Races for 2016 are: IRONMAN Lake Placid, IRONMAN Chattanooga and IRONMAN Arizona. Below are the races that we will be given Priority Registration Opportunities for:

5 entries for IRONMAN Lake Placid
5 entries for IRONMAN Florida
6 entries for IRONMAN Wisconsin
6 entries for IRONMAN Mont Tremblant

Here are how things roll with regards to Priority Registrations:

Two to three weeks out from general registration, Coach Rich fires up a forum thread announcing the priority registration opportunity with details about the internal guaranteed slot lottery process.

At the deadline, names are picked at random. Lucky winners are announced and this information is forward to our Race Director.

One week before open registration IRONMAN contacts our Race Director for the Names and Email Addresses of our priority registrants. It is imperative that you DO NOT use a work email address when submitting your name for a slot, as IRONMAN has pointed out that the firewall on work emails often dump their emails into the SPAM folder.

IRONMAN then takes the lead and works with the priority registrants to make sure they have secured a spot before general entry opens on race weekend.

If you have any questions, please post them in this thread. Thanks folks. I hope we all have a great triathlon season.
