Longer chain needed for 53t?

After hating the wahoo kickr I bought a cheap-ass used quarq on eBay for the training frame I shipped out to my apartment on the east coast. The Quarq is 53/39 and the existing crank is a compact 50/34. Will to need to lengthen the chain?

Yes.

And, I want to hear more about what you didn't like about the Kickr.

But, yes, chain is a couple of links shorter with a compact.

I'm sure you know how. This link is more for those peeping who might not know.
