Training/racing with osmo

Has anyone tried using the Osmo products women coupled with consuming real food or bars/gels for calories? I am considering it but would love some feedback.

  • Hey Sarah! I've been using Osmo off and on for the past year. LOVE it. It works well for me with Bonk Breakers. However, I have begun to make the switch to Powerbar bars, Gu, and Gatorade (blah) for my upcoming races. The biggest lesson I learned in my first Ironman was to train off what will be offered on the course... no matter how fake and disgusting it is.

    I'll go back to Scratch/Osmo/BB though afterwards.

  • I was introduced to it at a Carmichael Systems training camp and it was delicious. But I haven't had it since. Isn't that odd? I like Vytalite if I'm going to use that kind of thing. Using what's on the course is great advice, but I'll never consume a gel again, unless it's an emergency.
