Anyone ever try Juice+ Products?
Intrigued by this after seeing a presentation tonight... As someone who doesn't eat nearly enough fruits and veggies, this is very appealing to me. The presenter was a dr. and an IM (10:10 in Kona in 2005) and said it helped with his recovery and performance. Thoughts?

If so, he's legit. I spent a lot of time with him a few years ago. Not a snake oil salesman at all. I know he's been doing this for a while. He was doing this before green smoothies became the rage. His wife is part of JP+ also. These 2 are great people and are only working for JP+ b/c they believe in it. They are fitness freaks and walk the talk. Great people, outside of sport, too.
I believe what they are selling is beneficial.
I believe that taking in raw fruits and vegetables is better for our system in a natural way. But, for convenience sake, I think JP+ is a good alternative. The downside is that it comes from some science lab, you don't know the process. You never know anything like that unless you do it yourself. Only way to do that is to pick up your own fruit and veggies.
Anyhow, the cost is for convenience. Yes, it's a business and they are going to profit from giving you convenience. But, if you aren't one to eat fruits and veggies on a regular basis, with variability, you might want to give it a shot.
It ain't cheap. And, one month doesn't fix anything. You'll need to 'commit' (my words, not their's) to a year. I did it for 6 months and did see results. But, it was the first time in my life that I was putting anything associated with veggies into my body. I only stopped b/c of the cost (at the time, I had to save every $) and I'm bad about restocking bottles.
I can't guarantee you results (healthier, feel better). But, I do know David and Heidi. I haven't seen them in about 4-5 years so I'm not tight with them anymore. But, unless something has drastically changed, I can vouch for them and that they aren't selling something that they don't believe in, or use, themselves.
Having said all of this, taking JP+ won't fix a bad diet or bad habits. You know this, I just have to throw it out there. If you are training hard, eating quality stuff (let's say middle of the bell curve type diet), and getting rest, then JP+ should help (antioxidants, free radical stuff). But, JP+ shouldn't be your excuse to let the other factors slide. Like I said, you know this, just had to add my disclaimer.
