Transitioning between HIM & GF plans

Hi Coach,

Florida 70.3 on the horizon now and looking ahead in the calendar.

Checking my TSR you did for me a while back, couple questions:

* The week following FL 70.3 I'll be on vacation with the fam so focused on lots of recovery/walking/stretching here.

* Then pickup the GF plan before switching back to HIM for Challenge AC.

Q: Which weeks should I start and finish the GF plan in ... 

i.e., Start GF Week 4 on 4/20 and then finish through the testing in Week 8 on 5/24?

The TSR shows loading HIM plan from 5/18 but also mentions GF ending 5/24 so a bit confusing there.

Looks like there's enough volume in GF that coming back into HIM from Week 16 should be ok?

    Per the TSR I created for you:

    • On 4/13 you're going to load up the GF plan to end on 5/24. This will put you into GF wk3
    • You're going to follow the GF plan through Wk7. 
    • On 5/18 you're going to load up the HIM plan to end on 6/28. This will put you into wk15 of the HIM plan and I'm having you skip wk8 of the GF plan, as I don't think you'll need to formally test. 
    • Yes, you'll be fine going from GF wk7 to HIM wk15.
    • Do ^this^ as best you can, understanding that GF wk3 will be a bit of a wash for you, with the vacation. It is what it is, but recommend you run at least 3-4x that week, any pace or distance. Recovery swimming, if possible, don't worry about the bike. But I do need you to start that HIM plan on time, dropping back into it on wk15

    Was confused by teh GF ending 5/24 but HIM starting 5/18... I'm with you now.
    wk3 I will see what I can do but likely am running SAU deficit at that point so need to ensure the family vacation is mostly that from 4/13 on... image
