2015 JOS week 13 swim thread

Well I'll start this thing again.  Maybe I'll even get in two swims this week as it seems 1/week is what I've been doing so far.

  • Knocked swim yesterday. For a little more volume Decided to Kienle's wko posted in Triathlete magazine: w/u 200 swim, then 3x(400 pull, 4x100 swim, 4x50 sprint) for 3200m.
  • Another repeat of Kienle's wko but only time for 2 instead of 3 of the MS: 2200m
  • Ugh, worst swim test ever. Last year was 19:14, today was 21:09. I think my last swim was in aug so I think it was prob my longest swim hiatus so that prob didn't help. To make matters worse worse, I've had some random right shoulder issues the past few months. I've been seeing a sports chiro and has improved a lot, but today's swim found a new area of pain. Turns out I have a decent size bump near my right bicep and the dr asked if I ever tore my bicep! I haven't, but there's a new area for him to work on!
