QUESTION FOR GARMIN FENIX 3 EXPERTS!! Help!!

Just got the Fenix 3 (overall awesome) but have not been able to figure out how to manually calibrate my QUARQ power meter to the Fenix 3. Is it possible??? Or must rely on auto calibration?? Advice welcome, thanks!!!

  • Juan, DCRainmaker says it can be done but manual isn't so helpful. Here's how you calibrate footpod...maybe it's similar?

    1) Hold UP.
    2) Select Settings > Sensors > Foot Pod > Calibrate > Manual.

So do power or quarq, under sensors, then calibrate?
  • On the 920xt when in bike mode I just hold down the button with the 3 dots and it calibrates. Not sure if Fenix 3 has same button.
  • On the Fenix 2, After the watch has located the power source during start-up, it asks if I want to calibrate the power meter. I choose Yes, and it ends up giving me two numbers, which I can accept or not. I assume the Fenix 3, being basically a cosmetic upgrade, is the same. I checked Coach P's suggestion, there's no calibration option under the Sensor>Power menu.
  • Got the following support answer from GARMIN:

Please do the following to calibrate your power meter on your Fenix 3:

Press and hold up button to bring up menu
Push enter on settings start stop
Scroll down push enter on sensors
Push enter on your power meter
Scroll down and push enter on calibrate, and then push enter one more time to calibrate.
