Chris, I realize this is s coach question but look in the wiki under race execution. There's a pacing guide there. But the sorry answer is Z3 pace +15 seconds for the first 3 miles, then Z3 pace - 5 seconds for the middle 7, then hand onto that or speed up of you can for the last 3. Good luck.

Nice work! Remember those pacing (and pain) lessons. They will come in very handy in the first 3 and last 3-4mi of a half Ironman.
