My Wife's observation regarding my swim stroke

On a recent trip my family and I went to a beach.  Of course I brought my goggles :-)  I didn't do any swim sets or the like.  I was just swimming from one kid to the next.  My wife made the following observation.

The farther into a particular swim "interval" I went, the sloppier my left arm became.  That's the arm that I breath on.  She said, "It's like for your right arm you were: Recover with high elbows, fingers near the water. Spear the wall in front of you. Curl those fingers around a barrel and pull your self up the ladder.  Left arm, do what ever you want.  Now right arm, left's get that high elbow recovery, ..."

It was pretty funny to hear.  I wasn't really swimming in the moment.  Just moving from here to there with the kids.  It reinforced to me the message from Coach Rich regarding finding the right interval to train at.  And it was freaking funny so I thought I'd share :-)

Nice! I guess the feedback could have been much worse, she didn't compare you to a dying baby seal, etc
