Race Weekend Schedule

I'd like to set up our Team Picture.  Last year we tried race morning and that was way to stressful and no one showed up.  So this year I'm thinking that we can kill three birds with one stone.  I propose that we take a team picture either at the team lunch or at a pre-race swim session.  I play to go to  6028 Heards Ln, Galveston, TX 77551  on Saturday @ 11:30 AM and then drive to the team lunch

Hi All,
Wow this has me excited for everyone and a little disappointed i'm not going to be able to make it.. I'm not going to be able to do the race. My son has a Boy Scout camping trip that he wants me to go on with him.. I'm shifting in to the IM plan for a build to IM Boulder.

Just to make sure I've got the deets correct. The team lunch is at Mosquito Cafe at 12:30 on Saturday, correct? As of right now I'm planning on being there...not sure if my whole clan (wife + 6 kids) will be joining me or if they'll want to stay at the condo and play.

@David yep. I'm not planning to swim long at all. Just going to bring a wetsuit and a change of clothes and go straight from the swim practice to lunch.

I just like to get a feel for the water temp and chop.

Chris is this where you are doing a practice swim? I may try to get over there if I can. I'm coming into town on Friday and trying to check in and do the athlete meeting to get that out of the way. I just want to relax on Saturday but a swim my calm the nerves a bit.
