Up front, I haven't done Boise. I just moved to SLC and am interested in doing Boise next year. I was thinking about doing it this year but decided to go with Boulder instead.
What I've heard from folks who've done it before is that it is a beautiful course. It has a late start, previously noon but I think I heard it was moved to 10AM. I'd love not to get up at 4AM to choked down my nutrition.
The downside is the weather can be unpredictable. One of my buddies did it the year it snowed. The course was abridge. He said the pros rode their bikes in wetstuits.
I'd also like to hear about experiences from folks who've done Boise.
