so I get everything I need to plan this out formally for you. Regarding the hotel points, as you know camp fee includes double occupancy lodging so you and your son can just go that route? Or I could give you each a credit of $250 and you can continue to try to find your own lodging.
Rich,
I spoke with Patrick regarding a T.A. issue on my left shin a month back. I optimistic about my recovery and ready for the olympic next week. I did Sundays work out of 3' Very hard and the TA flared up a bit. I backed off the intensity of Tuesday and Wednesday run and it feels good.
My concern is at the end of the SC and the beginning of the "Get Quick" that is up and coming. I am questioning the wisdom of intervals at this point and possibly bricks ...Do you want me to follow the plan on everything but the run? Adjust the Plan? or talk after my race?
Static in the Attic
Thanks
Kevin
You should follow the plan but adjust the plan in real time to better fit your situation. That is:
The net is that should try to (1) get in the prescribed number of runs at (2) the prescribed volume, but at (3) an intensity that let's you get in the prescribed frequency and volume. However, the most important element in all of this, the one you're trying your best to hit, is the # of runs per week. While recovering / coming back from various motorcycle related injuries, I've often done whatever I had to do, with regards to volume and intensity, that let me get in 4-5 runs per week. This may have meant I was doing 4-5 x 20-30' runs with a mix of easy running and walking...but I gots in my 4-5x/wk.
In the end, running Frequency is king. Good luck!
