Foot Injury - Need help fast

Hello,

I hurt my foot on Thursdays run. Not sure exactly what is wrong but it hurts to push off when I walk and run. Anyway, I am not going to run until it feels better. What should I do to make up for the lost workouts or reduction in workout time? My guess is that I won't be able to run on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday this week. Should I bike or swim instead? Also, what can I do going forward to minimize running time until it is 100%?
