  • Hmmmm, I'm in Marketing so I'm suspicious that this is just a ploy to sell 3 products vs. one by claiming it is a "system" or "regimen". Unless you have sand in your, umm, bikini area, then I don't know how applying chamois cream if you haven't just showered is going to cause more irritation.... isn't bacteria microscopic?
  • Yeah, I wouldn't buy it because I don't have any issues down there. I'm pretty nuts about cleanliness etc. Seems there are some people on here that have some issues whether it's timing of the ride with other activities/work, errands....and maybe something like this would help them get into a before, during, after sort of clean routine. I tend to have more time than a lot of people as I'm child free and have a shorter work day and short commute.

  • I'd agree, this seems a bit excessive. Start clean, use chamois butter or some other lubricant of choice, get out of shorts as quickly as possible and then get clean. Done.

I will say that if you do experience chaffing (usually discovered in the shower afterwards) that I've recently found the Hoo-Ha ride glide does a nice job of helping to protect and heal that back up afterwards (apply after you shower of course).
  • That is essentially what I have been doing for about a year since I was getting horrible saddle sores.  Now the few I get are very minor.  You don't need that special stuff.  Here my regimen: shower, apply bacitracin to areas of contact, apply a THICK layer of chamois cream.  Ride, shower, apply a thin layer of bacitracin. I think the keys are decrease bacteria counts and decrease skin openings by decreasing friction.
