FTP Test, aero or not?

Hello!

Do you test your FTP using all ammo (Aero helmet, wheelsets, hydration system) or you just go with the "normal day" stuff? It there any significant changes in the results?

Hi Marco - none of that stuff should affect your FTP... since you are just measuring how hard and how long you can push the pedals. The wheels and the helmut should help you go faster on race day by lowering your aerodynamic drag. Given the choice, I like the drag on test day, it is hard for me to find a road without stop signs for 7ish miles. Typically do my test into the wind to shorten the distance!
