Minimalist Plan

Just wanted to see if anyone has used any of the minimalist full distance plans and any feedback they may have.  I'm looking to do Muskoka and this program seems to work well since I don't want to be a slave to training this year, just prepping for Madison '16.

  • Used it last fall, and did not find it sufficient for getting fully prepared for an IM (this from the perspective of 25+ IM training cycles.) My rec...should only be used by those who are extremely pressed for time or have no ambition to see how fast they can go. If you do use it, expect to not be able to fully execute per EN recommendations on race day.
  • Thanks. Maybe I'll just go with the regular plan and tweak as needed.
