Strava - Solo ride listed as a group ride
Within Strava, is there any way to "ungroup" a ride. Strava has started to list some of my weekend rides as a group ride when it in fact was a solo ride. What is happening is there are so many people on this track I am getting lumped in with a group. For example: today I passed two groups during my FTP session and held them off during my ABP. (It was my Jens Voit moment with a solo breakaway being chased by the peleton and I was in my EN gear to boot)! I did the 92KM stick and loop and I got lumped with a bunch of the other riders whom did the same thing.
Fridays and Saturdays are our weekends here and the cycle tracks gets lots of large group rides. (We are blessed with Al Quadra here in Dubai which is a 120KM paved cycle track (It's a path but they call it a track.... it's a British thing). It is for cycling only and about 2.5 meters wide. They are putting an extension on it this year to make it over 170KM).
I guess it's not a big deal.... but all the same I busted my hump on that ride and don't want to be linked with the people taking a free pass.
I don't have anything against group riding, but since some of the cycling on the street laws have changed here, the groups went from 10 - 15 riders to 30+. Given the confines of the track, it's just unsafe.

In short, I get it. I am on your side. I feel your pain. Right now I am experiencing the textbook definition of empathy.
That being said, you gotta turn the page. It's doesn't matter. We know who solo'ed the track and that's what really matters....
Solidarity!
I don't care about all the bad things coach Rich says about you I think you are awesome!
