Post Race

Well team....

WE DID IT!

So unbelievably honored to have shared the course with you fantastic teammates. I think we had a full spectrum of athletes from podium finishers (Congrats Doug Johnson on 5th AG) to bringing up the rear of the pack (myself) and all the rock stars in-between. That is pure EN magic that we all go out there listen to our coaches, cheered on by our teammates and make the most of our day. EN really is for everybody and so thankful we drink the Kool-Aid

Emily Brinkley coming back from a run injury to CRUSH her time, Nemo's smiling face cheering us on the course, Kind words from Dave, Ralph being steady and strong, Anna looking like she was enjoying her day (happy not to be at a summit in the cold) and everyone else in-between.

so, Whats next?

RACE REPORTS!

This is one of the coolest things about EN- write your race report for yourself (and soon bc the details will fade) and for teammates next year who will want to know all your secrets of the IM Raleigh course.

If you need to sync up with Coach Rich for the rest of your season don't hesitate to do that in the Macro (he will ask you to fill out a Triathlon Season RoadMap) or if you want recovery tips for rolling into next race in the next couple weeks, hit up Coach Patrick in the micro forum

Lets hear what races are on deck so we can continue to follow each other

Oh and P.S. We got 2nd in our Division for TriClub- WAY TO GO TEAM!

Hope everyone is home and resting- miss you guys already!

  • Congratulations Mariah...well done!!
  • Congratulations Mariah for crossing that line! So impressive and inspiring with the injury you're dealing with! Thank you for doing a great job as race captain! I look forward to reading everyone's race reports. Congratulations to all of us for being part of a 2nd place finish at Raleigh, that is awesome!

I got home yesterday evening. I'll be recovering for a couple days and then gearing up for Syracuse 70.3 in 19 days. After that I have IM CHOO in late September.

  • Congratulations everyone! I'm so excited to read all of your race reports recapping the good the bad and the ugly.

@Mariah, over the moon excited that you finished this race. You have so much will and determination! I admire that about you girl!!!

@Doug, congrats on 5th place that's awesome!! I'll see you in Syracuse!
  • @MB -- THANK You for all you did in making sure we had some major EN mojo going into the race. Seeing friendly faces and meeting new ones was one of my favorite parts of the weekend.

@Doug -- Dude. Way to crush it. I want to ride a bike like you when I grows up.

Seeing MB out on that run course was another favorite moment. There ain't nothing stopping her train of awesome.

The cards were in my favor yesterday, but I know that's not always the case. Thankful my body kept up with my mind. I'm looking forward to dialing in the Get Faster program for a bit before dropping into full training for IMChoo.

See you cool cats on the forums -- EB
