Hotel accommodations for Challenge AC

There is an outside chance that I may be racing Challenge AC HIM. In looking online (hotels.com), there are a lot of hotel options that are still listed that are (seemingly) a short drive (less than 10 miles) from Bader Field. Don't mind driving a short distance to get to the race start on Sunday morning and I don't want to stay on the boardwalk or at a casino. Coming up early Saturday morning and leaving right after the race on Sunday if I can make it happen.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a place to stay? Robert had given a warning earlier that some places are better than others, but if anyone has some suggestions I would appreciate it!

    We are staying at the Comfort Inn on Rt 30 in Absecon. We've stayed there several times for the Shoreman race and it's very nice. However, I just booked and it's WAY more expensive for Sat. night. Probably because of the race!
