Continental GP 4000s II

I've used the Conti GP 4000s before, and need new tires. Seems like I am mostly finding the II version now. Anyone know anything about this "upgrade"? Seems from reviews that some people claim sidewall issues, which I think I've seen on these forums with the old version as well, but overall seem to be highly rated. Just wanted to check in with you all before I order.

The II's are faster than the originals. I've used them for 2 years now without issue.

Same here. No issues with the II. I actually need some new ones for upcoming race. Anyone know of any sales?

@Robert, I usually buy them off ebay. Bike Tires Direct frequently has sales too where you can get a discount on them.

+1 more for no issues. Use them for races and love the tacky feel on pavement.
