Midwest Half-iron in September?

I'm taking kind of a low key year, and just did a Half distance race (June 13). I am looking for another driving-distance half distance race to do in the fall. I live in Iowa. Pigman is a fantastic race that I would recommend to anyone but it's a bit too early for me. My training will be irregular for about 12 days in late July while I am shepherding my daughter to her climactic competitions in swimming and triathlon, and the family is taking a week to hike in the Rockies Aug 9-14.... so I'm looking for roughly Labor Day weekend or later.

I found Superior Man in Duluth on Aug 30. Looks nice. I don't care about what brand race it is.

Any other suggestions? Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Minnesota, South Dakota, maybe IN or MI.

The guys who put on The Legend tri a few weeks ago are doing a Fall race on the old Kansas 70.3 course..

Maybe too far but Redman in OK is a good race. Bunch of people from Dallas go every year.
