It probably wasn't deodorant but Body Glide. A lot of people get chafed from their wetsuit so an application of Body Glide can protect areas where the wetsuit is prone to rubbing.

10-to-1 it's glide. I keep both deodorant and glide in my swim bag. I am careful not to mix them up.

It was deoderant. We were all kind of shocked. But this answers my question. She's just a really odd person, I guess.

Maybe she saw everyone putting on glide, thought it was deodorant and so was copying everyone!!!!
