Sorry, I'm not super familiar with the sweat test. That said, yes, calcs are the same for HIM and IM distances but, intuitively, (1) salt requirements for IM and HIM would be the same but (2) calorie requirements would be different, with HIM needing fewer calories per hour than IM racing.
That is, you're going harder in an HIM and can therefore process fewer calories, so you take in fewer calories per hour at the HIM distance. But Patrick is the better person to ask about the details of the sweat test.
