Betty Designs - ladies, good kit?

Hello ladies, looking for a good Tri outfit...attractive, doesn't chafe, etc etc. I see there is a discount code for Betty designs. Would anyone recommend them? How is the sizing?

Thanks!

  • All I've heard is that they run stoopid small. I do love the designs though....
  • My wife loves their stuff!
  • Kori is a Betty team member, I believe. Hope she can chime in for you.

There's a local teammate of mine that is on their team also and wears their stuff. The designs are crazy loud for me, but - in all honesty - I'd look at her regardless of what she wore!
  • I love the way the Betty kits look - but I had some terrible chafing on the run portion of a 140.6 while wearing their kit.  I have found that the stickiness around the legs goes away after a few washes and they ride up.  I love the tops though.

The tri shorts that I just found and love are the Couer... super comfy!  Is it bad to mix and match?

  • Thanks all for the feedback...I may give them a try!

I have asked Kori so hope she can chime in.

Kate - Will have a look at Couer as well. Can you comment on the sizing... do they run small like many tri outfits?

I have found the Couer to be much more true to size than others.  I am 5'4" and weigh 128-130lbs and I ordered Med in both top and bottoms.  The bottoms have a little extra room but no constriction at the waist which I really like.  Also, the chamois covers the whole inner thigh portion of the shorts so no chafing.

  • Thanks again all..ordered a couple sizes and it's not the fit for me. Beautiful designs however looks like I will be returning unfortunately.
  • Thanks for the info girls! I have been in need of some new tri shorts that will not chaff, so I just ordered some from Couer. This is one reason I love EN, I have never even heard of Couer Sports before. I'm excited to try them out!
